That thing sticking out over the edge of the road is Guthrie Theater, near Mill Ruins. The theater is representative of the innovative approaches Minneapolis is taking to renovate the area near Mill Ruins. On this day, a bunch of school kids were sitting on the very edge, in a cool outdoor amphitheater of sorts.
